October Minutes: There were no minutes taken at the October meeting.
Treasurer’s report: Sandra McNeill
Sandra reported that we had $2752.09 on hand
Committee reports.
Community Issues.
Sara reported that there will be a meeting at Bessie Weller Nov 9th from 5-7pm to discuss Staunton’s Comprehensive Plan.
On Thursday Nov 12th Amy Arnold will discuss the UVA project to gather data on Staunton’s historic districts.
HSF will host a brown bag lunch on Friday Nov 13th 12 noon regarding reservation.
Commercial Property.
Craig reported that the NBG is promoting a wreath contest for Newtown businesses. A drawing will be held for each wreath. More information to come via e-mail.
Many properties up for sale or rent.
Old Business.
Shirley reported on the Newtown banner. No permission yet but Bob Craycroft will follow up with insider connections. We will discuss this again at the next meeting.
Ed Jankiewicz is chairing the Christmas Tree Walk. The preview and party will be Dec 18 6-8PM at Ann Hathaway’s Cottage on W. Beverley Street. The Tree Walk is on Saturday 19th December.

We will meet again to discuss a flyer, card, etc as an invitation and Christmas greeting. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned .
