NNA Board Meeting Minutes

We did not have a quorum, so March minutes were not approved.
No Treasurer's Report
Sara brought up that we need a new board member list.
There was a discussion on how to distribute newsletter and announcements of our events. Should we send electronically only, electronic + paper or should we mail postcards? Bob Craycroft is in favor of the postcards, which could be printed, labeled and mailed by Minuteman Press. Barbara suggested having a few hard copies of the newsletter to hand out to Newtown businesses. We also discussed having only a couple of newsletters each year--perhaps one in June and one in November. Sara brought up the idea of sending a promotional, save the date email as soon as we know the date of the event, then following up with a postcard and a few days before the event sending another email. We need to discuss these ideas at the next meeting.
The Newtown Plant Swap will be May 2, June 6, July 11, August 1, September 5 and October 3 at 1 pm, 709 W Beverley parking lot
The photography shop in the old Dirty Bean will have a grand opening April 23 at noon.
We need to ask about the Ice Cream Social date with Elizabeth Dyjak.
Sara told us there will be a Comprehensive Plan Open House on May 4, 5-8 pm at Bessie Weller. There will be 18 priority tables, so people can discuss the issues they are most interested in.
