The meeting was opened at 6:35PM by president Ed Miska.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed, amended and adopted.
Treasurers Report:
Sara reported a balance of $1503.37, with 61 members paid up to date and an additional 22 who need to pay their dues. We have seven new member households.

Community Relations:
Sara reported that the design review brochures have now been printed. These brochures will outline the responsibilities of owning property in a historic district. They will be mailed every year to property owners as well as to new owners whenever a property changes hands.
There was a discussion of the website at www.historicaycock.org (here) and its emphasis on helping people understand historic preservation. NNA's webmaster will work to incorporate some of their ideas into our site.
Real Estate:
Various properties bought, sold and on the market were discussed.
Newtown Business Guild:
NBG is working to establish their West Beverley Crime Watch, as well as continuing with their current projects.
Old Business:
There was a motion on the floor from the last meeting:
NNA will develop a policy or guideline for commercial tie ins to the organization. This should include board approval of all commercial ties.
Due to time constraints, the motion was again tabled.
New Business:
Sara moved and Tesi seconded:
NNA will pursue a co-sponsorship with CIA and NBG to provide a dinner for the visiting French choir in August. No NNA general funds will be used for this purpose.
The motion passed by majority.
Joe moved:
The NNA president is authorized to appoint a nominating committee for the purpose of selecting a slate of Board members for the upcoming year.
There was no second.
The President commended those involved in distributing the flyers, Anne Jeffrey and all who made the Garden Walk such a big success, as well as our noble Webmaster for maintaining the website.
It was decided that the next meeting will be held on Thursday, July 15th at 6:30PM. It will be held at Sara Hollberg's house, 24 Church Street.
The meeting adjourned at 6:55PM.
The evening then turned to our "Design Review and You" program concerning the workings of the Historic Preservation Commission and Design Guidelines.
